These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the website alittlebigworld.com (the “Site”) and the A Little Big World mobile application (the “App”), operated by Turtleshell Software (ABN 31 932 086 647) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or App.

1. What we provide

The Site and App share information, stories, and updates about the A Little Big World project. Content is provided for general information and entertainment purposes only and may change without notice.

2. Your responsibilities

• Use the Site and App lawfully and respectfully.
• Do not disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Site, App, or other users.
• Do not attempt to bypass security or access systems or data without permission.
• Any information you submit must be accurate and lawful.

3. Accounts, subscriptions and emails

If you join our mailing list, you consent to receive updates as described at sign-up. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting info@alittlebigworld.com.

4. In-app purchases

The App offers a one-time, non-consumable premium purchase that unlocks additional content. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, depending on your device, and are subject to their terms and conditions. We do not process or store payment or billing information.

Where supported, premium purchases may be restored using the “Restore Purchases” option within the App.

5. Intellectual property

Unless credited otherwise, all content on the Site and App—including text, stories, artwork, images, videos, logos, trademarks, and code—is our intellectual property or used with permission.

You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent. Any permitted downloads are for personal, non-commercial use only unless a licence states otherwise.

6. User content and feedback

If you send us ideas, feedback, or materials, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use them for our project, including to develop, improve, and promote the Site and App. You confirm that you have the right to provide such materials and that they do not infringe the rights of others.

7. Third-party links

The Site or App may link to third-party platforms (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, Patreon). We are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies. Please review their terms and privacy notices before using those services.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Consumer guarantees and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all other warranties and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnity

You indemnify us against losses, costs, and liabilities arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site or App.

11. Changes, suspension and termination

We may change the Site, App, or these Terms at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where necessary, including for security, maintenance, or breach of these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
